Got Questions? We've Got You.
Everything you've been wondering about senior photos in Pickerington and Columbus, answered. Don't see your question? Just ask.
What should I wear for senior pictures, and how many outfits can I bring?
Wear what feels like you, whether that's your favorite fit, your team gear or something a little dressed up. We'll help you plan looks that fit your style and the season, since a cozy fall sweater hits different than a summer outfit. The number of outfits depends on the package you choose.
How should I prepare for my senior photo shoot?
Get some sleep, drink water and pick your outfits a few days ahead so you're not scrambling. Lay everything out the night before, including shoes and accessories. Haircuts look best about a week before your session, not the day of. Most importantly, come ready to have fun. We handle the rest.
What's the best time of day for senior pictures?
The hour before sunset, also called "golden hour." The light is soft and warm and makes everyone glow. Early morning works great too. We'll schedule your session around the best light for your locations.
When should I book my senior session?
As early as you can. Fall is the most popular season and weekend dates go fast. Booking 4 to 6 weeks ahead gives you the best choice of dates and time to plan outfits and locations. Many seniors book in the spring or summer before senior year to get it done early. Check available dates.
How long is a senior photo session?
Most sessions last about 1 to 1½ hours, depending on your package and how many locations we visit.
Do you help pick locations?
Absolutely. We've shot all over Pickerington, Columbus and the surrounding areas, so we have plenty of ideas for parks, downtown, your school's field and more. We'll help you choose spots that match the vibe you want. Have a new idea? Let's get creative with it.
Can I bring my car, pet, letterman jacket or friends?
Yes! Your car, your pet, your letterman jacket, your best friend, your instrument, whatever tells your story. Props or extras that need more time or planning can become a custom package, and we'll talk it through before your session.
I'm not photogenic. Will my photos still look good?
We hear this all the time, and those seniors usually end up with some of our favorite galleries. Most people who say they're "not photogenic" just haven't had someone help them relax. We keep things laid back, crack jokes and guide you the whole way, so your photos look like you on your best day.
I don't know how to pose. What do I do?
Nothing, that's our job. We walk you through every pose, step by step: where to put your hands, where to look, how to stand. No experience needed. Most seniors forget they're nervous within the first 10 minutes.
My parents are making me do this. Help?
We get it, and we've got you. This isn't a stiff school-picture-day situation. We'll play your music, keep it chill and make it feel like hanging out. A lot of seniors who showed up dragging their feet left asking when they could do it again. Plus, your parents will be happy, and that's never a bad thing.
Are professional senior photos worth it, or can I just use my phone?
Phones are great for everyday moments. Senior photos are a once-in-a-lifetime milestone. A professional session gets you pro lighting, sharp detail, guided posing and expert editing that a phone just can't match. These are the photos that end up on graduation announcements, open house displays and your family's walls for years.
When do I get my senior photos?
You'll get a few sneak peeks soon after your session so you can share them with family and friends right away. Your full gallery arrives in your own private online gallery in about two weeks.
